Stamping with Weeds!

Image
Hello dear readers and Rubber Dance fans! I hope you all enjoy the summer. Today here with you Olga Kovalchuk and I will try to inspire you. Are you ready to create new summer cards? Let's do it together with amazing Rubber Dance stamps! I made very sunny summer card "Smile of the summer" and of course I hope that you will like it. I used the very cool smile word stamp from Think Again set of stamps and the very beautiful nature stamps from the Weed Love set.  I just stamped with acryl paints and had a lot of fun. I stamp on the paper and then cut it out. Very quickly and very lovely for me to use the stamps in such way.  All stamps are from Rubber Dance and you can find them here: Smile stamp from Think Again:  http://rubberdance.com/sentiments.html Flower stamps from Weed Love:  http://www.rubberdance.com/nature.html I hope that you will find some inspiration and I wish you a beautiful day!!! Decorated Canvas by Steph Ackerman

Image
Hi everyone, Steph here with my first blog post as a DT member for Rubber Dance.  I love these red rubber stamps.  They are very detailed and stamp beautifully each and every time I use them. Today I want to share a mini canvas I created with Rubber Dance stamps. I started by first inking the canvas with 3 colors of Clearsnap chalk ink - blue for the sky, cream for the center and tan for the ground: Next, I used the Sea Mesh stamp, inking it first with Candied Yam Chalk Ink and stamping the canvas.  I then inked the stamp again with Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink and stamped over the first image: The Retro Beach sentiment was stamped on a scrap of paper and the Sea Mesh stamp was stamped lightly on top of the sentiment, both with Blush Rose Chalk.  I then tore it, inked it and added it to the canvas with foam adhesives for dimension: Finally, I stamped the Retro Beach sea shells in black ink across the bottom of the canvas. All the stamps used for this project a

Life is a Whole Box of Crayons: ATB by Irit

Image
Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my very first post made for Rubber Dance Stamp Company. For those who are not familiar with the name ATB is a name for Artistic Trading Block. This is a very similar to ATC item, but made in 3d cube shape. I used Sizzix die cut to make this cube and then covered all surfaces with heavy stamped cardstock. I picked the images and my color according to the sentiment I wanted to use: Life is about using the whole box of crayons" and rainbow coloring technique was just a Must for this project. So here is a small tutorial I made for this post and I hope you like this technique as much as I do. Step 1: 1. Make a strip from 31*7.5 cm white cardstock and divide it to 4 *7.5 squares. Don’t cut it into the squares, this will be done later. Using clear embossing ink and Rubber Dance Lace background stamp impress the image over the lower third of the cardstock strip. Add white embossing powder and heat emboss the stamped piece.

Vintage Fabric Card by Olga Kovalchuk

Image
Hello dear readers and Rubber Dance fans! I hope you all enjoy your summer. Olga here today and I will try to inspire you for your new creations. For this card I stitched a lovely fabric onto the cardstock, and the main focus is the very beautiful bird stamp. I didn't color stamping bird, just wanted to make it black and white. I was trying to make this card a little vintage. I hope you like it. The stamp used for this card is called B3-1D: Flycatcher, and can be found on this page: http://rubberdance.com/animals.html   It's available as a single stamp and also with other birds on the set B3-M: A Lillte Birdie (found farther down on the same page). Wish you a wonderful weekend! Mixed Media Art Journal by Gabriele Langfeldt-Feldmann

Welcome dear friends of Rubber Dance! My name is Gabriele from Art-a-tag and I am a Mixed Media artist.  I would like to take you on a very exiting journey using the fantastic Rubber Dance stamps in my art. For me this journey will be full of adventures and new experiences which I would like to share with you. Be warned, I will also share the not so good experiences, but my learning process might be of some interest for you too.  Todays creation is an Art Journal page about time, or rather about forgetting time. It is about letting go and dreaming. This page contains 3 quotes: "Forget Time", "Joy is Timeless" and the quote from a Rubber Dance stamp "Dream it, Wish it, Do it". The Rubber Dance stamp of a pocket watch just works so well with these quotes, I stamped it all over the page.   I will explain the process step by step. I usually begin with collaging some papers. I am not searching for anything, I just take what is
